Privacy policy

This policy explains how Oura Spirit (“we”, “us”), 2794+458, Sri Mawatha, Unawatuna, Galle, Sri Lanka, handles personal information when you use this website or contact us. We follow Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 and, for guests from the UK and EU, the principles of the UK and EU GDPR.

What we collect

  • Details you send in our booking, contact or careers forms: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, dates, guest numbers, arrival time and any requests you choose to share (for example dietary needs).
  • For job applications: your CV and the information in your application.
  • Messages you send us by WhatsApp or phone.
  • Basic technical data that our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes to deliver the site securely, such as IP address and browser type, kept in short-lived server logs.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry, confirm availability and manage your stay.
  • To arrange services you ask for, such as airport transfers, tours or celebrations.
  • To assess job applications.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as guest registration requirements in Sri Lanka.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. We only send marketing if you ask us to.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and runs the code that processes forms.
  • Our email delivery provider, which sends form submissions to us and your confirmation copy to you.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there.
  • Drivers or partners only where needed to provide a service you request (for example your name and flight time for a transfer).
  • Google, when the embedded map on our pages loads (see our cookie notice).

Some of these providers process data outside Sri Lanka under their own legal safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to a stay are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone at +94 76 783 4128 and we will respond within one month.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
